Jack the cat, who gained doubtful reputation after going blank in Aug at JFK Airport, died Sunday night after battling vicious wounds since being found on Oct. 25.
“It is with tears that we must tell you that Jack has left over the rainbow bridge,” said a note posted by Mary Beth Melchior Sunday dusk on Jack’s Facebook page. “Jack had endless wounds on the behind of his body, and the wounds were incompetent to reanimate because his skin had run-down due to the gauntness that occurred while he was lost.”
On Aug. 25, the 7-year-old masculine cat went blank from his conduit after his owner, Karen Pascoe, checked him into container on an American Airlines moody firm for California.
