She’s back! Ten months after welcoming twins Moroccan and Monroe, Grammy-winner Mariah Carey returned to the stage last night, performing at New York’s Gotham Hall. Though her kids didn’t make an appearance, they were definitely in her thoughts.
“Do I bring dem babies out?” the ‘We Belong Together’ singer asked the crowd. “They should be in bed! I really wanted to bring them here tonight, but Monroe is sometimes shy and takes a while to warm up to an audience.”
Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon revealed yesterday that he’s been trying to take it easy in the wake of his recent health scare.
“I feel blessed to be alive,” Nick says, explaining that he’s been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease but that he’s feeling good. “If it wasn’t discovered, I don’t know [what would have happened].”
