ANGELINA Jolie wants to star in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
The actress has been reading the novel dubbed as ‘mummy porn’ after being introduced to it while shooting her new film, Maleficent, in the United Kingdom.
And sources say Jolie is keen to play Anastasia Steele.
“Angelina kept hearing about the book while she was in the UK. All the girls on set were talking about it and how it’s being made into a film,” a source said.
“Angelina went out and bought herself a copy, thinking she’d love a part in the hot topic on everyone’s lips at the moment. She knows the film is bound to be a huge hit.”
The fictional story tells the tale of virginal girl slowly consumed by the charms of a man named Christian Grey.
“Ange is dead-set on a major part. She’s up for the challenge,” said the source.
Meanwhile, it’s been claimed that Jolie was left furious when her eldest child — Pax, 8 — started spouting the expletive-laden lyrics of a Rihanna song about impromptu sex.
So she’s decided to ban the Umbrella hitmaker from their stereos.
“Pax was singing the lyrics to ‘Birthday Cake’ and laughing hysterically at the curse words,” a source said.
“Angelina wants to keep her kids innocent, so she put parental blocks on the music ASAP.
“She keeps an eye on the sites they browse and their Spotify playlists.
“Angie grew up pretty fast, and she wants her kids to avoid that same mistake.”
