Recently Freshly Picked, the baby and toddler lifestyle brand known for their highly coveted moccasins and huge celebrity following, launched its first in a series of new shoe styles, the Mary Jane. The new shoe is a soft-soled twist on an American classic.
A significant departure from the brand’s famous fringed moccasins, the dressier Mary Jane still features the same benefits Freshly Picked customers have come to love – they are soft- soled, made of premium 100% leather, and have an easy-on elastic opening that keeps them secure on baby and toddler feet.
Freshly Picked Mary Jane shoes are available in sizes 1-5 (from around 6 weeks old up to 2 1⁄2 years or 3.5”-5.7”).
We are giving away a pair of Freshly Picked Mary Jane shoes to one (1) lucky reader (value: $60).

“First off this is my heart outside of my physical body. His name is ode. And he has been quietly ( and not so quietly!!) changing my world since last summer,” she wrote.
She added: “Also, I had a wonderful “eureka” moment today. Becoming a mother is certainly a life changing , all encompassing endeavor. It’s so full of joy and hope and light. But there are many deaths in this rebirth process of becoming a new human , a mother. The most important ( after much consideration ) death is that of being an individual. Which is an interesting and life changing journey. But it’s wasn’t till I read a wonderful article ( full article in my bio) today did I put two and two together. This death of individualism is also what we need on a global level. To battle so many problems. The consumption lifestyle , addiction to fossil fuels, embracing/ embattling climate change, our disease of loneliness and compulsive comparisons within social media, our lack of real and true community. I guess it’s why I’ve become so goddamn “woke” in many of these issues since becoming a mama. I’m sharing a not fully formed idea, so please go easy on me in the comments. And let’s talk about what this really means. Read the article. And please let’s discuss!”
