HOWARD Stern has ripped into rival talent show judges Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, and has branded them “dummies”.
The 58-year-old radio and TV veteran has dismissed the competition posed by the pop superstars and their X-Factor gig to his role on America’s Got Talent.
“I think we have the best judging panel out of all these shows,” says Howard.
“To sit there with J-Lo and Britney Spears and try to prop those two up, I’d be like a ventriloquist with two dummies. I’m not going to sit there and do that.”

MICHELLE Obama doesn’t trust her husband.
According to a new book, The Amateur by author Edward Klein, the first lady follows President Barack Obama around and often turns up unannounced to check up on him.
A source close to media mogul Oprah Winfrey spoke to the scribe to explain why Obama had a negative attitude towards her husband’s relationship with the billionaire.
“Michelle is very jealous, I would say unusually so,” said the Oprah insider.
“Most people after years of marriage have trust and don’t follow their husbands around and check on them. Michelle doesn’t seem to trust Barack at all. She insists on knowing his every movement and drops in on him at all kinds of odd times. It’s been the buzz of the White House.
“Oprah has gossiped about it and giggled about how obsessive Michelle is. This is what she hears from her friends who work in the East Wing, and, believe me, she has some good sources.
“Michelle makes it clear to her inner circle, and this certainly includes Valerie, that she wants women around Barack watched and wants info about who he has an eye for and gets touchy with.
“The thing is, she knows, like everybody, about JFK’s shenanigans, and she thinks, hey, JFK was young and good looking like my guy.
“Michelle talked to Gayle King about it, just talking as friends. She has become much closer to Gayle than to Oprah, to Oprah’s anger and surprise. She told Gayle that if she found out her husband was running around, she wouldn’t keep quiet. Gayle was kind of astonished that she would say that.
“Michelle is furious that her husband makes late-night calls to Oprah, seeking ideas on how to improve his sinking popularity.
“Michelle thinks he should turn to her, not Oprah, for that kind of advice. What’s more, Michelle suspects that at one point Oprah secretly encouraged Hillary Clinton to consider a run against Barack in the 2012 Democratic primaries.
“Barack just laughs at the idea and so does Oprah. But Michelle still believes Oprah has been getting too close to Hillary, whom Michelle calls ‘a snake.’ ”

BRITNEY Spears is a true diva!
The singer is said to be demanding more than just her $15 million paycheck as part of her US X-Factor deal.
The former princess of pop will insist on a number of “personal preferences” in order to get through her debut as a judge.
“First of all Britney will only be seen sitting directly next to Simon Cowell,” says a source close to the star. “She is anxious to make the most of her role and to be seen as the natural opposite to Simon’s nasty side.
“She wants to come across as nurturing the acts and encouraging new talent. She will also have a set number of gags in each show written for her.”

EVA Longoria wants to step behind the camera now hit show Desperate Housewives has been axed.
The 37-year-old actress says while she is open to new roles, she is more excited to further her experience as a producer.
“I love behind the scenes,” says Eva.
“The reason I love to produce is I have a very strong business mind so I like putting the pieces together. I like the creative process.
“As an actor, you don’t control anything but the performance. You don’t edit, you don’t direct, you don’t build sets, you don’t write it and you really have no control over the outcome.
“As a producer you have a lot of control so I’m kind of a control freak. I’m really bossy and I really enjoy being behind the camera and I definitely will be doing more of it.”
