Channing Tatum, Pink & Jimmy Kimmel Tell Daughters They Ate All The Candy

Daddy ate all the candy! During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, some of our favorite celebrities joined parents across America in telling their children they ate all the Halloween candy. It’s been seven years since Kimmel started this festive prank, and now Channing Tatum, Pink and Jimmy Kimmel himself have joined in on the fun.

To begin, the Magic Mike star, 37, shared a video telling his 4-year-old daughter Everly that the trick-or-treating loot is gone.

After Tatum told his preschooler that the candy is gone, Everly turned her back on her father and started to cry while grabbing onto mama Jenna Dewan Tatum‘s legs.

Not too long after watching his daughter’s shocked reaction, the Step Up star confessed. That said, Everly did not look too amused with her father’s so-called joke.

“Dad, that’s not funny,” Everly said in the video.

“You’re right—that really was not funny. I’m so sorry baby,” Tatum replied. “I hope you forgive me someday for that.”

Grammy Award-winning singer Pink, who made a guest appearance on the show, tried to pull the same stunt on her daughter Willow. That said, the savvy 6-year-old wasn’t falling for the prank.

The What About Us hitmaker shared a clip of her husband Carey Hart telling their daughter that the candy was all gone. In response, Willow said, “Give me my candy,” and threw her trick-or-treating bag at her father.

“You promise? You don’t do you?” she said. “So, I don’t believe you.”

Then Kimmel tried to pull the prank on his 3-year-old daughter Jane. At first, she didn’t seem too fussed about her father’s candy confession.

“I have to tell you something,” Kimmel, 49, said. “Last night while you were sleeping, mommy and I ate all your Halloween candy.”

“What? I still have one. Don’t worry,” Jane said as she fished a single Smarties. The adorable preschooler seemed more concerned that the family’s waffles were ready to eat. But once, Kimmel started detailing all of the sweets he consumed, she became increasingly concerned.

“Mommy ate them,” Kimmel continued. “Daddy only ate Skittles, M&Ms, Kit Kats, Reese’s peanut butter cups, gum, and eyeballs and Twizzlers and lollipops.”

“I wanted my Skittles!” Jane said. “The eyeball is bubbles!”
