Kim Kardashian is adjusting to motherhood, one email at a time.

Ryan Seacrest – who is an executive producer on Keeping Up with the Kardashians – shared an exchange he had with the reality star on his radio show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, on Tuesday.

After emailing her a message that read, “Yay! Congrats my darling, you’re a mommy!” Kardashian responded with “Cant believe it! It’s so crazy!”

As for the baby girl’s name, Seacrest had no news to tell.

Kardashian has mentioned in the past that it will likely begin with a ‘K,’ but so far, she and West remain undecided, although a source tells PEOPLE that they are close to a final decision.

A new friend has surfaced on Justin Bieber’s Instagram – and this one is definitely a heartbreaker!

Tuts, a smoosh-faced orange feline who presumably belongs to the 19-year-old singer, is making more and more appearances in Bieber’s photos (unlike questionable girlfriend Selena Gomez). And judging by the kitty’s unamused frown, she doesn’t seem too happy about it.

“You get that camera out of my face,” reads the caption for one Instagram photo of Tuts looking none-too-pleased with the photoshoot.

So enthralled are Bieber’s fans with the bossy feline – who reminds us of a certain Grumpy Cat – that the squeezable ball of fluff recently took to Twitter to greet her loyal following.

“I like to sleep,” reads one Tweet. “A lot.”

Julia Louis-Dreyfus, star of HBO’s political comedy Veep, says having lunch with the real Vice President Joe Biden and meeting his staffers – who showed some resemblance to the characters in her show – was nothing short of “mind-blowing.”

“One woman said ‘Hi, I’m Allison. I’m the Dan Egan of the office,’ ” the Emmy winning-actress tells Katie Couric in an interview airing on Wednesday’s Katie. “There was a Gary, this guy who carried the vice president’s bags all the time. It really was bizarre.”

What happened at lunch in Biden’s private office also could have been a scene from Veep, in which Louis-Dreyfus plays the self-interested and gaffe-prone Vice President Selina Meyer.

As a waiter came to take their order, Louis-Dreyfus says her anxiety took over as she struggled to review the menu and make a choice.

“I was so unbelievably, profoundly nervous that I had no appetite whatsoever. I couldn’t make a decision about what to eat,” she says, adding that the vice president “could not have been more charming.”

Then Biden ordered an item that wasn’t on the menu – “some sort of chopped salad,” Louis-Dreyfus says. Flustered, she tried to follow suit.

Says Louis-Dreyfus: “I said, ‘I’ll have whatever he’s having,’ but he said, ‘You may not like it so why don’t you have a half order or a side order.’ “

She agreed to the smaller portion of the salad and crab cakes.

“Food comes. I have the most food at the table!” Louis-Dreyfus says in a preview of Wednesday’s Katie. “It is so embarrassing. Like I hadn’t eaten in days. All these crab cakes … And I wasn’t hungry.”

Leave it to John Mayer to provide the soundtrack for all your Prancercise needs – his new single “Paper Doll” calls upon the talents of Joanna Rohrback, the face of Prancercise, to illustrate the tune.

On her website, Rohrback describes Prancercise as “a springy, rhythmic way of moving forward, similar to a horse’s gait and ideally induced by elation.”

Though Rohrback’s presence (as well as a random appearance by Monk‘s Jarrad Paul) puts a fun spin on a seemingly downbeat tune, many are wondering if the song pays tribute to Mayer’s rumored pairing with Taylor Swift.

With lyrics that include “22″ (Swift’s hit song), a scarf (which Swift references in “All Too Well”) and the line “Someone’s gonna paint you another sky” in response to Swift’s “You paint me a blue sky and go back and turn it to rain” from Swift’s “Dear John”, a musical back-and-forth is hard to ignore.

It seems Mayer, 35, has a fan in Rohrback, however.

“They just released a music video I did for John Mayer. … They introduce it as Advanced Prancercise which I assure you it’s not,” the viral video star writes on her YouTube page. “However, they just probably wanted to differentiate it from my real program. I really enjoyed doing it and applaud John for being unique in this presentation … not just another Hollywood cookie cutter version!”

Mayer, who’s recently been linked to on-again, off-again girlfriend Katy Perry, will release his sixth studio album, Paradise Valley, on Aug. 13.

Katy Perry says Russell Brand was “a magical man” when they met four years ago, but the spell wore off shortly after their Indian wedding in October 2010. And it bottomed out when the actor sent her a text 14 months later informing her he planned to file for divorce.

“He’s a very smart man, and I was in love with him when I married him,” Perry tells Vogue in a revealing cover interview for its July issue. “Let’s just say I haven’t heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011.”

Perry, 28, says that Brand, 38, seemed to have difficulty accepting her role as a successful musician and businesswoman – even if that’s what he thought he wanted.

“At first when I met him he wanted an equal, and I think a lot of times strong men do want an equal, but then they get that equal and they’re like, I can’t handle the equalness,” she says.

Perry moved on with musician John Mayer in 2012, and says their coupling was much more than a casual rebound relationship. Desite his lothario reputation, she says, Mayer is a great guy with a “tortured soul.”

“I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him,” says Perry, who was spotted out with Mayer earlier this month.

Adds the pop star, who is currently at work on her third album, “All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.”

Jessica Chastain isn’t big on kissing and telling – at least not now.

“Sometimes when someone [in the press] asks me about my dating status, I get really quiet about that because I want to protect it,” the actress, who’s been linked to Italian fashion executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, tells E! Online.

Says Chastain, 36: “When I’m engaged someday – who knows to who – I’ll probably be more open about it.”

The actress, who earned back-to-back Oscar nominations for her roles in The Help and Zero Dark Thirty, explains that she wants to make sure a relationship will go the distance before going public with it.

“Seeing all these interviews with actors talking about loves of their lives and then they break up in a year and you’re thinking, ‘What if something happens and they end up being a total jerk?’ ” says Chastain. “Then you forever have these pictures of you standing on the red carpets together.”

The actress has been notoriously private about her love life over the years – but she did make a public appearance with de Preposulo in February at the Women in Film 6th annual Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party, where they were spotted kissing and hugging.

Earlier, she revealed the relationship to Katie Couric on Katie.

“I have a rule,” Chastian told the talk-show host, “I don’t date actors, so he’s not in the business, at all. … He’s in the fashion industry.”
