Worcs Pro Series 1 2011, è morto Nathan Woods – Moto10
Purtroppo la notizia che tutti non avrebbero voluto sentire, è arrivata come un sentenza stamattina, Nathan Woods è morto oggi.
In seguito alle ferite dovute ad un bruttissimo incidente nella Honolulu Hills Raceway a Taft in California. Nathan si stava preparando per la prima gara della Off-Road World Championship Series che si terrà questo fine settimana.
Il pilota avrebbe preso parte alla Worcs Pro Serie 1 2011 con il team Raptor Stillwell Performance in sella alla compagna di una vita, quella moto numero 54 che quest’anno lo vedeva su KTM.
Professionista da 9 anni ed in sella ad una due ruote da quanto aveva 7 anni, Nathan aveva vinto 2 campionati Worcs con il maggior numero di vittorie nella storia della serie in più una medaglia d’oro ai ISDE.
Nathan lascia la moglie Amanda, e 2 figli, Nate e Braxton.
Il dolore per gli appassionati è enorme e per tutti coloro che conoscevano Woods come pilota e per chi magari non l’ha mai conosciuto, ma sta leggendo ora queste due righe, ci sentiamo in diritto di ringraziare a nome di tutti questo grandissimo sportivo che ha dato tanto alle due ruote e che ci ha lasciato troppo presto.

Gasparilla invades Tampa Saturday
Saturday’s Gasparilla celebration is in full swing in Tampa, with moments taken to remember fallen officers.
Now that Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio has surrendered the key to the city to the crew of the Jose Gaspar, Pirate Fest can get underway.
The parade begins at 2 p.m. on Bay to Bay Boulevard.
Before the parade begins, there will be a moment of silence to remember St. Petersburg Police Officer Jeffrey Yaslowitz and Sergeant Thomas Baitinger. A motorcade of Yaslowitz and Baitinger’s vehicles, other St. Petersburg Police vehicles and units from other law enforcement agencies will travel the parade route first.

Bruno Mars Won’t Be Convicted For Cocaine Arrest

BRUNO Mars will not have a conviction on his record for his Las Vegas cocaine arrest last September.
The Just The Way You Are singer agreed a “deferred adjudication” deal with the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, meaning if he stays out of trouble for 12 months and completes his community service, he will have a clean record.
According to gossip website TMZ, Bruno will do 200 hours of community service and undergo private counseling after which the felony will be officially dismissed.
Bruno was arrested on suspicion of cocaine possession after security at the city’s Hard Rock Hotel confronted him in a bathroom and found him with the class-A drug.
According to a copy of the arrest report, a bathroom attendant told a member of the security team there was a man he believed was taking drugs in the toilet, and that he was “taking a really long time”.
When he eventually left the cubicle, the singer was asked to hand the security guard whatever narcotics he had on him.
“This is when Hernandez, with his left hand, pulled out a white powder substance, which was consistent with cocaine, from his left-front jeans pocket,” the report said.
He then reportedly said, “Can I speak to you honestly, sir?” before admitting he “did a foolish thing and has never used drugs before”.
Bruno was arrested after tests proved the substance was cocaine and he was taken to the Clark County Detention Center where he was booked for the possession of a controlled substance.
