Lourdes Leon: Funky Fashionista
Lourdes Leon was seen out and about in New York City on Wednesday (April 11). The 15-year-old rocked her own style in blue jeans, a short-sleeve black jacket and a long flowing scarf.
In between juggling her school schedule the teen will soon be joining mom Madonna on her kick off tour in Israel in May.
A source told The Daily Mail, “It is the first time Lourdes will have appeared on stage with her mum. There are risqué dancers and some blatantly sexual dance routines – but Madonna is really excited about Lourdes making an appearance.”
Two weeks ago her brothers Rocco, 12, and David, 6, were in England with dad Guy Ritchie attending the red carpet launch of the Harry Potter studio tour.

The Material Girl, the Queen of Pop, Madge, Hydrangea Hater, up-and-coming director, Evita — Madonna has been many things to many people. She’s had hits and a few misses, but she always manages to titillate the masses with her upbeat pop songs, controversial videos and well-calculated publicity stunts. As we celebrate the release of her 12th studio album, MDNA — a collection of juicy pop tunes, invigorating dance beats and introspective lyrics — we’re marveling at the fact that she still knows how to grab and keep our attention.
Of course, she’s done her share of acting and made a case for herself as a director, with W.E. We’ve seen her pour herself into humanitarian efforts, fashion and writing (for mature adults AND children). But amazingly, we’ve realized that there are a few careers Madonna has yet to try. And that made us wonder — what if this music thing hadn’t turned out? We think she would have had a few other options…

In addition to the films and the accolades, the Oscars have a long, illustrious history as a place where questionable celebrity fashion goes to die. Madonna’s Super Bowl Outfits Remind Us Of All That Is Righteous And Important About Pop Culture
All Hail Queen Madonna! How much more appropriate can you get considering her grand entrance at her incredible (seriously, mindboggling) Super Bowl halftime show took its cues from another legendary Queen. The next photograph shall elaborate.
Walk like an Egyptian, bay-bee! Only Madge could take on the awesomeness that was Elizabeth Taylor‘s unforgetable entrance into Rome in the film Cleopatra. Come to think of it, Madonna’s entire performance reminded of us of all that is pop culture, old and new. Seriously guys, her fashion cues through the whole shebang — with guest spots by LMFAO, Cee-Lo Green, M.I.A and Nicki Minaj — reminded us of a couple things that hold a very high importance in entertainment graph.
