Melissa Gorga has become a household topic in numerous homes across the nation after joining the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Although reality star only joined the show this past season, she has managed to become one of the most recognized names throughout the Bravo series. The aspiring singer recently dished about how she “does it all” at home, her daughter’s girly side and her thoughts on a certain celebrity baby’s name.

Melissa – who is mother Antonia, 6, Gino, 4, and Joey, 1 with hubby Joe – claims that she does all the cooking, cleaning, and child care at home with minimal help.

“I have people come up to me all the time and ask me how I do it,” the TV star states. “To be honest, I dont think about it, I just do it. I think I was born to be a mommy.”

“I am a go getter,” she continues. “If an opportunity arises such as the housewives I am going to take it and figure out a way to do it all. No matter what, my husband and my children will always come first to me.”

And speaking of children, Melissa feels she hit the jackpot with her brood of three.

“I am very lucky to have respectful kids that are really over all great kids.” she says.

When talking about her 6-year-old daughter Antonia, Melissa claims that she is definitely into girly things.

Antonia is a girly girl. She still allows me to dress her in the poofy skirts and put the big bows in her hair. I have a feeling that when she gets older I am definitely going to be more conservative. I want to keep her in the poofy skirts and hair bows as long as she lets me. If it was up to me, she would play with Barbie dolls until she’s 18.

So what does she think of the name choice of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s new pink bundle?

“I actually like the name Blue Ivy, although I might have reversed it to Ivy Blue. I don’t have a problem when celebrities pick creative names. They are artists and that’s part of who they are.”
