Congratulations are in order for Nick Swisher and JoAnna Garcia Swisher.

The first baseman for the Cleveland Indians, 32,  and the Better with You actress, 33, welcomed their first child – a daughter – on Tuesday, May 21, PEOPLE reports. 

Swisher has been put on the teams’ paternity list (mandatory one to three-days leave).

No further information has been announced at this time.

Swisher is in his first season with the Cleveland Indians, who signed him to a four-year, $56 million free agent contract in December 2012. He previously played for the Oakland A’s, the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees.

The Reba alum – who announced her pregnancy last November – spoke to reporters at a Golden Globes after-party that she’s just enjoying the “honeymoon stage” after a “humbling” week of being “really into mayonnaise.”

She went on to talk about juggling their lives between three American cities.
