Anne Hathaway decided to add some edge to her girl-next-door palette, by trading her dark locks for a bleached blonde ‘do! She debuted the new look last night at the Met Costume Gala in New York City. The theme of the night was “punk” so the style change-up seemed pretty appropriate!
The newly minted Oscar winner apparently based the look on a real-life punk pioneer. ““I don’t know if you can tell by looking at me but Debbie Harry was kind of an inspiration,” she admitted on the red carpet. She’s definitely not the first celeb to get the itch to go full blondie. Check out the gallery above to see 30 other famous brunettes who stepped over to the light side…for a short time, at least.
