KRISTIN Chenoweth is leaving The Good Wife.

The actress sustained an injury on the set of the shoe last month, and is now quitting her recurring role on the hit CBS series as she continues to recover.

“It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife at this time,” she said.

“[I'm] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern.”

Chenoweth, 44, was injured by a piece of falling lighting equipment while on the Brooklyn set of the show on July 11. When reached, CBS had no comment.

She was hospitalized overnight as a result of her injuries, and she has periodically shared health updates via Twitter.
