The TV star apparently feels like her former TODAY show co-host “threw her under the bus” when she was axed from the show.

“There is definitely no love lost between Ann and Matt,” a source close to the situation told Radar.

“Ann feels Matt threw her under the bus and that he did nothing to stop her being axed from the show.

“They worked closely together as co-anchors for a year and Ann feels Matt just turned his back on her and washed his hands clean when he could have maybe stepped up and stood up for her when the chips were down.

“Ann really feels very let down by Matt and has no desire to buddy up to him. She feels he stabbed her in the back and that she was made the scapegoat for the TODAY show ratings fall.

“It says a lot to her that the ratings have continued to fall since she was replaced, it proves it wasn’t just down to her.”

The singer told the New York Post that she doesn’t follow other stars by feeding her post-performance high with booze.

“You can get really sprung after a show, and there’s nothing to feed it anymore because you’re offstage,” she said.

“Lots of people go to the clubs and drink because you have all of this space to fill, and there’s nothing else that will do that for you except for the high that you had in the first place . . . Or you can eat like me.

“I just go have a quick big pile of french fries.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Opens Up About Motherhood

Acting, singing, cookbooks, GOOP: It sometimes seems that Gwyneth Paltrow really can do it all. But on this week’s In Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, the mom-of-two reveals that she sometimes struggles with motherhood just as much as anyone else.

“When I’m tired, when my chips are down – that’s when I don’t parent the way that I want to parent. I can get impatient and at the end of my rope and just threadbare. And I hate that and I hate feeling out of control, even if I’m just saying, “That’s enough!”… It’s not the way that I would aspire to be,” Gwyneth, who is mom to kids Apple and Moses, admits.

She adds, though, that even though she beats herself up over these impatient mommy moments, there is probably some value in them.

“I do really believe that part of our job is to equip them for the world. And we can’t make everything okay for them, we can’t take away all of their suffering. It’s not good for them. They need to be able to know that people lose their tempers and people have bad days and it doesn’t mean that you don’t love them, it doesn’t mean anything. It’s just that we’re all human. But of course I beat myself up endlessly when [I do get impatient].”

As for “doing it all,” Gwyneth says it was her dad Bruce Paltrow, with whom she was very close, who made her believe in herself.

“When somebody says, ‘What makes you think you can do all this stuff?’ It’s because he told me I could from the time I was… probably before I could speak…. He really thought about what he was saying, how he was relating to us. He wanted our opinion, he wanted to hear our jokes. He really bolstered us as people from the time we were tiny,” she says, adding, “It’s funny because in a way it’s given me a strong sense of self, it’s given me confidence and self-acceptance and then on the other hand, I’m just as f***ked up as anybody else.”

Hilary Duff On Giving Birth: "It Was Very Easy"

Set to celebrate her first Mother’s Day this Sunday with 7-week-old son Luca, Hilary Duff made an appearance on Friday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show and opened up about the joys of motherhood and her “easy” delivery four days past her due date.

It was very easy,” she shares. “I went into labor at about one in the morning and I very calmly had my bags packed and woke my husband up after about three hours of walking up and down my hallway. Then I’m like, ‘Okay, it’s time to go, let’s go now.’ We got in the car and drove to the hospital and that was it.”

And it sounds like she’s lucked out in the sleep department as well!

I feel weird, because it seems like I’m bragging, but he sleeps from like 11 to six. It is possible, ladies,” Duff, 24, said to an audience filled with expectant mothers. “It didn’t happen right away, but the past three weeks, he’s an 11 to 6er.”

Calling motherhood an “amazing ride,” Duff reveals that her mom Susan and her sister Haylie arrived at the hospital in anticipation of the birth.

My family gets there and we wait all day and everyone is hungry. We’re Southern and from Texas and my mom and my sister actually went down to the food court area,” Duff explained. While they were gone the doctor came in said it was time to star pushing. “Things start rolling,” she continued. “All of the sudden the doors bust open and my sister and my mom come flying in. They’re like, ‘We got barbecue chips and root beer, guys.’ I [said], ‘What? I’m pushing!’ They were just arriving for a show with their chips and their root beer.”

The Lizze McGuire alum said the greatest joy is watching the evolution of Luca’s facial expressions.

“Every single day, it seems like there’s a new face that they’re making,” she said. “He started to smile about a week ago, and that’s the coolest experience. It’s all good.”

She went on to tell the pregnant audience of the “amazing journey” awaiting.

What is to come is such an amazing journey, and a lot of work,” Duff said to the moms-to-be. “It’s just like the best thing that’s ever happened to you.”
