We’ve been having so much fun with our annual VH1 Celebrity Bikini Awards (and judging by the amount of votes you’ve placed, so have you) that we decided to extend things a bit. We’re turning this into a bracket style throwdown, starting with a couple of ladies who know a thing or two about throwdowns: Mob Wives‘ Drita D’Avanzo and Lost actress Michelle Rodriguez. We can tell you who wants this more: Drita started her own campaign to rally votes for herself in the Reality TV round (not that she needed it; look at that photo!). But Michelle is coming off a surprise victory in the Hollywood leading ladies category, where she narrowly beat Scarlett Johansson by a handful of votes. That girl has some fight in her. Who’s your favorite? Choose carefully, and choose often. Polls close Tuesday at midnight!

We didn’t want the VH1 Celebrity Bikini Awards to end after just a couple of weeks, and we don’t think you did either. That’s why we’re extending them into a bracket-style showdown. While the first round featured ladies competing against their peers; now it’s time to see how they do against a whole other category of beach beauties. Here we have Disney star victor Selena Gomez in her Spring Breakers finery going halter-to-halter against Italian model Claudia Romani. You might think Selena holds the advantage, due to name recognition if nothing else. But a quick image search of Claudia turns up almost nothing but bikini pics. This girl’s a pro. And she has a fanbase that helped her beat the likes of Miranda Kerr and Kate Upton. Which lovely lady do you want to see continue in this very important competition? Think long and hard before you decide, but decide quickly. Polls close Tuesday at midnight.

The horrifying news about how Sylvester Stallone‘s son, Sage Stallone, 36, was found dead in his apartment on Friday, broke the hearts of family, friends and fans all over the world. His surprising death lead to a lot of heartbreaking allegations that we couldn’t even stand to watch roll in.
Sage was an actor, director and screenwriter. Remember Rocky Balboa’s son in Stallone’s 1990 film, Rocky V? That adorable dark haired kid was Sage Stallone. Cue tears.
Sylvester told TMZ that he is completely devastated by the death of his son and how badly he wants “the speculation and questionable reporting” to stop. We couldn’t agree more. Stallone went on to say “when a parent loses a child there is no greater pain.” Sly is begging the public to show compassion and respect for Sage’s “loving mother Sasha.”
When speaking about how this would affect his family, Sylvester said “this agonizing loss will be felt for the rest of our lives,” adding, “Sage was our first child and the center of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son’s memory and soul left in peace.”
We here at VH1 send our thoughts and good wishes out to the Sly, Sasha, and the entire family during this incredibly difficult time.

The number of ladies we saw at Comic-Con dressed as Brave‘s Merida should tell you something about how much everyone loves a defiant girl who can wield a weapon and look good doing it. Come August, we might all fall in love with a brand-new such heroine in C.J. Redwine‘s novel Defiance. We have the exclusive trailer premiere above, to reel you in.
Rachel Adams lives in a post-apocalyptic village of Baalboden where women have to be accompanied by male protectors at all times, and everyone lives in fear of their leader, Commander Chase, as well as the giant monster that dwells outside the town’s walls. When her father, Baalboden’s best courier, goes missing, she’s placed in the custody of his apprentice, Logan. That makes things pretty awkward, since she professed her love to him a couple of years back. But since both of them have a shared mission, to find Rachel’s father, they’re willing to put aside any weird tension and embark on a seriously dangerous journey. The mood is a little bit Game of Thrones-y fantasy, a little bit Hunger Games dystopia and a little something else we can’t put into a box yet. We’re too busy racing through the pages to find out what’s next.
