Chrissy Teigen and Luna Learns to Help

Chrissy Teigen had a little helper over the holiday weekend, her adorable 19-month-old daughter Luna. Chrissy, 31, posted a sweet snap on her Snapchat of Luna helping her mama cleaning up some spilled water.

In the snap, you hear Chrissy saying “Oh man, it’s just water, can you help me?” then you see Luna cleaning it up with a towel and then Chrissy saying “thank you.” By the looks of the “Snap” video, Luna had no problem helping her mama out and it seems like Chrissy is really enjoying this age.

Oh you cheeky face with my same squinty eye!!

She declared that this is the best age, on one of the snaps.

Another Baby on the Way

The family of three spent the Thanksgiving holiday at John’s parents’ house in Springfield, Ohio. Luna was also pictured playing outside and enjoying running in the Fall leaves, which is a big switch to the southern California weather she is used to.

The proud mama must know it’s time to teach Luna to lend a helping hand and we agree, you can never start too young. The Legend household is about to get bigger by one sometime next year. John and Chrissy announced earlier last week that they are expecting baby number two.

Luna helped her parents announce the exciting news on Instagram. Chrissy asks her daughter what’s in here, pointing to her belly and Luna excitedly answers baby.

There had been speculation leading up to the announcement that Chrissy was
expecting, she had been pictured wearing more baggy clothes as usual and using her handbag to cover her midsection.

The couple has been very open in the past about their fertility struggles and spoke honestly that they were working on baby number two. Chrissy had even commented on occasion that she wasn’t pregnant yet.

It looks like the Legend brood had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Chrissy Teigen Will Soon Use Remaining Frozen Embryo

Model Chrissy Teigen covers the November issue of InStyle and opens up about family life with husband, Grammy Award-winning singer John Legend, and their 17-month-old daughter Luna.

On her struggle with postpartum depression: “I thought I was just being a selfish a—hole. It wasn’t just a mental thing of, you know, ‘I’m sad.’ I actually couldn’t move. I have really good days and really bad days, and I don’t tend to talk about the really bad days. But I would hate for people to think those days didn’t exist.”

On her IVF journey, which started with about 20 embryos but was left with three: “The first little girl didn’t work, and then the second is Luna.” The third is the one they will transfer to her womb in the coming months.

On the secret to their happy marriage: “I’m much luckier to have John’s personality in my life than he is to have mine. He is insanely patient and such a dork, and he loves seeing me happy, even if that means watching The Real Housewives of Dallas with me for two and a half hours. I mean, I don’t care about half the s— he’s doing either. But there’s a balance. If he’s watching MSNBC and is excited about something, then I’ve got to be in that realm.”

John Legend Opens Up About Fertility Struggles

Grammy Award-winning singer John Legend opens up in the new issue of Cosmopolitan about family life with wife, Lip Sync Battle star Chrissy Teigen, and their 16-month-old daughter Luna.

On their struggles with fertility: “Having a baby is a big challenge for a couple, and going through that together strengthens your bond because if you make it through [having a child], you know you can make it through anything. I think it’s especially difficult when you can’t conceive naturally. You want to feel like everything’s working properly and want everything to be perfect, but sometimes it’s not. I wouldn’t say we can’t conceive naturally, but I would say that it’s enough of a challenge where it felt like we needed help. We’re lucky that we’re living in an age where we can conceive in other ways. [IVF] brought us Luna and hopefully it will bring us a few more awesome kids, too.”

On maintaining an open line of communication in their marriage: “There’s no problem with openness in our relationship. You know Chrissy. She doesn’t hold anything back! I’m quite reserved, but being with someone like her inspires me to be open about my emotions. She brings them out of me because she’s so open about hers.”

On Chrissy opening up about her struggle with alcohol: “We’re always honest with each other, so we discuss everything that’s on our minds. When she was thinking about how she wanted to drink less, we talked about it. I just want to support her. I want her to be happy and to live the fullest, most awesome life she can, and I want us to do it together. Whenever she sets her mind to anything, I always tell her, “I want to support you and help you do it.” ”

On being a man who’d rather commit to one woman than be a womanizer: “I don’t want to present myself as the “perfect spouse” and I don’t want to present our relationship as the “perfect relationship” because I don’t think anybody meets that definition. I think it’s too much pressure to put on anyone. However, I don’t mind being known as somebody who’s devoted to their wife. I am devoted to Chrissy. And when I write about [my commitment to her], it’s me being authentic. I think it should be cool to be a good partner, a good spouse, a good father, and/or a good parent. If I’m one of the people who helps make that cooler, I think that’s great.”
