Although Ben Flajnik is a male she’d “want to hang out with,” he’s definitely not someone Monica Spannbauer would like to date.
The Salt Lake City dental consultant, 33, told reporters she didn’t have regretful feelings towards The Bachelor – or for associate competitor Blakeley – and explains why she thinks Ben and Courtney merit any other.
Night one, you were outspoken about not being that into Ben. Did feelings emerge?
I’d never seen the show so we hadn’t depressed in love with him by examination final deteriorate like some girls. we came in literally meaningful 4 things about this man.
The initial night we thought he was bleak and boring. As we got to know him, [I realized] he’s unequivocally fun and quirky. He’s definitely a male I’d wish to hang out with, just not [one] I’d wish to date.
Was it because you elite Blakeley?
I knew this was coming. Blakeley and we strike it off in the limo. You travel into the lion’s basement shaken as can be and it’s good to have someone like a crony going with you.
I favourite her a lot. Was it in the context of me being bisexual and into her? Absolutely not. we wasn’t perplexing to get her series to be a girlfriend. She was stressed. we was perplexing to be comforting. we said, “If we go home tonight and all we get is making a new friend, then awesome.”
Surprised you didn’t get a rose?
Through the review Ben and we had, we suspected we was going home. He wasn’t feeling anything for me as most as we wasn’t feeling him. For the record, that’s why we wore this absurd dress with huge red roses on it that I’ve had for 15 years. It was a fun like, “I already got my rose. It’s on my dress.”
They made it seem like a race between you and Emily.
I felt bad she had so most anxiety. we never thought she was going. She’s quirky, pretty, intelligent and funny. [She], Nikki and Kacie B. are substantially the only 3 we can see Ben with.
So you weren’t disappointed?
I was blithe we left. we was organisation Kacie B. so [it felt like I] was dating her boyfriend. we couldn’t do that. She’s the sweetest, most darling thing. What you see is what you get.
Hoping Kacie wins then?
Watching now, we unequivocally wish he doesn’t collect Kacie. we don’t think he’s honourable of what a kind beautiful chairman she is. we think he’ll break her heart.
If he did collect her and they’re in the blithe new attribute state, carrying to watch this awfulness will be detrimental. If it’s Courtney [who wins], she can just slough it off and say, “Winning” and won’t care.
It sounds like you don’t have a really high opinion of Courtney or Ben.
This side of Ben is really disappointing. we feel like he’s genuine, but the choices he’s making, he’s quite being a male and being manipulated. we knew he favourite her, but everybody was 100 percent assured that she was going to fire herself in the feet on the organisation date because she doesn’t do good with us.
She manipulated him and he gave her the rose. Worst decision ever. It put everybody on edge. They were in tears going, “If this is the kind of lady he wants, we don’t know if we should be here.” Emily was perplexing to give him a head’s adult like, “Honestly do you not see what’s happening?”
Does she merit the backlash?
She deserves all that’s entrance to her. Courtney’s manipulative and not really nice. She said really decaying things to the others.
She’s opposite around women than a man. She was not bashful about making it apparent to the rest of us know she felt improved than us. She’s a weird duck. She had to take a 4-hour snooze before every event.
He cares what his family thinks and we pledge they [don't think] she’s a really good lady for Ben. If he’s that shoal and she’s that manipulative, they merit any other.
Does subsequent week’s skinny-dipping warn you?
Courtney is going to lift out any gun required to make this work for her. Everything Courtney does is notwithstanding the women, to hurt everybody and not indispensably to get Ben.
You didn’t find love but did anything make the knowledge worthwhile?
I schooled how to see me in a opposite light. we found myself by this show. Which was a cool thing for me being 33. we mean, finally.
