We’ve spent all of our spare time in the past couple of weeks obsessively Googling the Pitch Perfect cast, until it dawned on us that we could channel all this useless knowledge into an actual blog post. Thus, here we are, presenting you with the 10 very useful bits of surprising trivia you will definitely want to know after seeing Pitch Perfect.
1. Rebel Wilson was in a Christian a cappella group in high school.
2. Anna Kendrick performed on Broadway as a kid. Here she is, all wee and cute, singing “Life Upon the Wicked Stage” from Showboat and killing it.
3. Anna Camp got naked with Daniel Radcliffe when they starred together in Equus on Broadway. (NSFW video, but with cute DRad accent!)

4. Skylar Astin is friends with Lea Michele. They performed on Broadway together (see a trend?) in Spring Awakening. Their other BFF? Fellow Spring Awakening cast member Jonathan Groff.
5. Elizabeth Banks told VH1 that she and Kay Cannon, who wrote the script, “have done a lot of karaoke together.” They became pals working together on 30 Rock, and Elizabeth approached her about writing the script. (Kay is now a co-executive producer on New Girl.)
6. Ester Dean is a super famous songwriter, who wrote/co-wrote every song on your “Workout Jamz” playlist, including “Countdown” for Beyonce, “Super Bass” for Nicki Minaj, “Firework” for Katy Perry and a billion awesome Rihanna songs. (“What’s My Name,” “Rude Boy,” “Talk That Talk,” “Where Have You Been,” to name JUST A FEW, good lord.) Also, she’s a singer herself:
7. Alexis Knapp has a daughter with ex-boyfriend Ryan Phillippe, aka the former Mr. Reese Witherspoon.

Adam DeVine “almost didn’t audition for the movie because he said he couldn’t sing,” Elizabeth Banks told us. “The first time that we heard him sing Rihanna’s ‘Please Don’t Stop the Music’ was so triumphant because … he didn’t think he could sing, and he sounds amazing. That was a great moment because I think he didn’t know he could do it.”
