The golfer and the Olympic skier, who announced their relationship in March, were seen riding the waves on jet skis with his two kids, Charlie, 4, and Sam, 5, on Monday in Jupiter, Fla.
The couple were previously seen hanging out on Woods’s yacht but without the little ones, whose mother is Woods’s ex-wife Elin Nordegren.
The pair – looking fit for summer in swimsuits – were recently all dressed up to attend the Met Gala in Manhattan together as a couple.
Kerri Walsh: “We’d Love To Have A Fourth Child”
Volleyball player Kerri Walsh took part in the StrongMoms Empowerment Summit last Tuesday (May 7). The Olympic gold medalist and mom to Scout, 5 weeks, Joey, 3½, and Sundance, 2½ – joined parenting experts, doctors, and mom blogger to discuss the issue of mom-judging and ways to empower moms. The event was created by Similac.
Kerri exclusively shared with Celebrity Baby Scoop her thoughts about the program and family life.
CBS: Tell us about the StrongMoms Empower program by Similac. What’s it all about and how did you get involved?
KW: The StrongMoms Empower program is about being more supportive of moms. When Similac called and asked if I wanted to be involved, I jumped at the chance. I want to be part of anything that empowers moms to be more confident.
CBS: Have you ever dealt with being criticized by other moms for decision you made, either directly or indirectly?
KW: Some of the judgment is really out front, some not. I’ve been judged about putting my oldest son in school too early, judged for using formula or about whether I vaccinate my kids. Some of the criticism has made me think twice, which I appreciate, but I also choose which to listen to. If I don’t like it, I take a deep breath and try to not get angry.
CBS: How, in your opinion, can we, as moms, better support one another?
KW: I try to put myself in the other person’s shoes. We’re all doing the best we can. We all have a unique perspective with unique ways of parenting. But, that’s what makes us all special.
CBS: How is Scout doing? Do you already see any differences in temperament with a baby girl vs. when the boys were babies?
KW: Scout is just as mellow as my boys, knock on wood, so I don’t see a lot of differences in that respect. But, I have noticed a change in me. She’s changed our whole family. There is a different energy – we’re all a bit softer.
CBS: How are Joey and Sundance adjusting to being big brothers to their little sister?
KW: I’m really proud of them. We talked so much about our new baby before she was born. Now that she’s here, they keep asking, “Where’s sister?” or saying, “I’m a big brother.” They just love her.
CBS: How are you feeling? Are you able to fit in workouts with two busy boys and a baby girl?
KW: I’m feeling great. I’m exhausted, but still great. My body feels good and I’ve been working out. Sometimes at night I do lunges or squats. But, I’m really ready to let loose soon. In fact, I start training again next week.
CBS: Does your family feel complete or might there be room for another addition?
KW: There is always room for an addition! I’m sad to think about if we don’t have another child. We’d love to have a fourth child after the 2016 Olympics, but I also need to look at the bigger picture. I want to make sure I have enough love and room for my kids and husband.
CBS: What else is on the horizon for you?
KW: I’d like a lot more sleep! And a lot more family time. And, of course, I’ll be getting back in shape. I am going to be on tour this summer so I have a lot of playing to do – and a lot of loving my family to do.
