As the sun rises up over the mountains of the L.A.-area home he shares with wife Vanessa, Nick Lachey walks upstairs, peeks into the nursery of his nearly 8-month-old son Camden John and begins singing.

“He’s an angel; he’s the happiest kid,” says Lachey, scooping up his boy and feeding him a bottle before walking out to get the paper with his dog Wookie in tow. “It’s our morning ‘dude time’ and the perfect way to start my day.”

It’s a new dawn indeed for the pop star-turned-family man. “Vanessa and I were at the point in our lives where we were 100 percent ready to become parents,” says Lachey, 39. “Every single thing in your life changes, and we welcomed that.”

Despite juggling diaper duty at home with a busy career – he’s hosting two NBC shows, releasing his first album in 13 years with his band 98 Degrees on May 7, kicking off a summer tour and promoting his album A Father’s Lullaby, in stores now – he says, “It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this calm.”

That is, until he packs up the family for almost three months of living on a tour bus shared with Nick’s brother Drew and his wife, Lea, and two children.

“Camden will be a rock and roll kid,” says Lachey, laughing, who sees himself and Vanessa, 32, as “pretty chill” first-time parents. “We’re not overly obsessive or controlling – I like to think we’re cool and hip.”

RACHAEL Ray signed copies of her new book, My Year in Meals,  at The Free Library of Philadelphia in Philadelphia on December 08, 2012.

Ray says she realized she had made it when she could afford good shoes.

The TV cook told America’s Life & Style that success has changed her life.

“Good shoes,” Ray said when asked when she knew she’d made it.

“Groceries without my hand shaking while scanning the debit card. When I didn’t have to decide if I was going to put back the steak or the toilet paper.

“I was in a $575-month-rent-to-own for a long time.”

Her craziest interaction with a fan?

“I always think it’s weird when people talk to you in the toilet between stalls. I always find that a little unusual,” she said.

“Then you get out of the stall, and I am like, “I need a minute to wash my hands. Let’s wash up first, shall we!” Success

Andrew Garfield And Emma Stone Put Their Awesomeness On Brown Paper Bags

af2bemmastoneandrewgarfiled paperbags Andrew Garfield And Emma Stone Put Their Awesomeness On Brown Paper Bags

This is another one of this many reasons why we adore Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone so much as a couple. We love them as separate individuals too, but together they’re the unbeatable duo of adorable. Andrew and Emma were getting lunch in New York City over the weekend, and as usual, it was them plus the paparazzi who are ubiquitous. We know it, they know it — them shutterbugs are everywhere. But this time, the couple dealt with the glare of the cameras in a much different manner. They took two brown paper bags and wrote messages on them, urging people to support two charities. They then proceeded to hold those two messages up, walking around the city, up till the photographers decided to call it a day, it seems. Emma’s bag read, “We just found out that there were paparazzi outside the restaurant we were eating in. So … why not take this” with an arrow pointing to Andrew. His placard read, ” … opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it www.WWO.org www.gildasclubnyc.org Have a great day!” We are having a great day now, thanks to them! What an awesome way to use celebrity. And it was also extremely smart of them, because we’re writing about them. and the charities, so mission accomplished. But seriously, how much do you love these two!
