Some People are Praying for Prince George to be Gay

Is Prince George gay?  Are people hoping and praying that divine intervention will turn Prince George Gay?

It has been published in numerous articles over the past couple of days that we should all pray for Prince George, who is four years old, to be gay. The question is why?

Rev. Kelvin Holdsworth writes, “It would help the advancement of the LGBTQ rights in the Church of England.” Also, the idea is that it would influence the Church to support same-sex marriage.

Presently, a same-sex couple is not permitted to marry in the Church of England but is allowed to marry in most of Britain. The Scottish Episcopal Church, for example, leaves the decision up to their priests.

Holdsworth states, “it really should be up to the Archbishop of Canterbury to come to the decision what stance the Church of England takes on same-sex marriage.” Some of the more traditional church members are infuriated by Holdsworth’s words. They believe it is “unchristian” and “unkind” to pray for such a thing.

Why is Prince George’s Sexual Orientation a Thing Already?

Prince George is only a four years old child. Born into the Royal Family, he already lives a life under the microscope and scrutiny of the public. Gaven Ashenden, a Christian Episcopal Church missionary bishop, says “this does not have Prince George’s best interest at heart.”

People went onto Twitter speaking their own thoughts about such a controversial topic. One person tweeted, “putting pressure on the Prince to be gay will only do more harm than good.”

This hot topic comes at a very engaging time. Earlier in the week, Prince George’s uncle announced the much, anticipated engagement to his American girlfriend Meghan Markle.

Ms. Markle has been married once before. The couple notified the public that they are set to marry May in 2018. The wedding will take place at St. George’s Chapel. The church preaches marriage is for life. Only since the early 2000’s did the church allow divorced members to marry in the church and just in special circumstances.

It seems, in some aspect, the Church of England and the Royal Family is modernizing with the times.

Nobody can predict the future. It certainly looks like same-sex marriage could possibly be welcomed in the Church of England when Prince George is old enough to marry.

Kate Middleton’s Surprise Appearance

An expectant Kate Middleton and Prince William met Paddington Bear on Monday (October 16) at the cuddly character’s namesake train station in London, England.

Joined by Prince Harry, 33, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 35, also attended a special party for children.

During her surprise appearance, Kate was pretty in a pink Orla Kiely dress.

In September, the royal couple announced their third pregnancy.

The expectant mama was not expected to attend the event and has stayed away from the spotlight since news of her pregnancy. The Duchess is battling acute morning sickness, also known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum.

A Kensington Palace spokeswoman had said that the Duchess is “better but she’s still suffering.”

The newborn will join the royal couple’s older children — 4-year-old son Prince George and 2-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child,” read the pregnancy announcement.

“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

Prince William: “It’s Very Good News”

A day after announcing their third pregnancy, Prince William said there is “not much sleep” going on at home.

The Duke of Cambridge, 35, gushed about the “very good news” while meeting with dignitaries at a policing and mental health conference in Oxford, England, on Tuesday (September 5).

Meanwhile, his wife Kate Middleton is experiencing severe nausea.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 35, is being cared for at their home in Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace as she battles Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG). The expectant mum was also afflicted by the condition during her pregnancies with their older children — Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.

“There’s not much sleep going on at the moment,” Prince William admitted during their conference, before gushing about the “very good news.”

He added the couple had been able to “start celebrating this week” after “it was a bit anxious to start with.”

On Tuesday, the Duke of Cambridge spoke about mental health, and how his career as an air ambulance pilot encouraged him to make issues facing first responders “a focus of his work for many years to come.”

On Monday, Kensington Palace announced the royal couple’s pregnancy news.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child,” read the statement.

“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

“As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre in London today.”

“The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace,” the statement concluded.

The Duke and Duchess — who celebrated Prince George’s fourth birthday on July 22 — welcomed their daughter on May 2, 2015.
