Jeffrey Dean Morgan & Family Stroll Though LAX

Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan was spotted at the airport in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday (January 14) with his fellow actress wife Hilarie Burton and their adorable 1year-old son Gus.

The star – who has an uncanny resemblance to Spanish actor Javier Bardem – strolled through the airport while chatting with his wife. Little Gus can be seen all bundled up in his stroller as his family made their way through the busy airport.

The handsome actor recently discussed the discoveries of being a first-time father.

“He just said ‘no’ for the first time, which is f**ked up,” Jeffrey laughs. “In one week it’s just like, ‘No, no, no!’ But everything is a first. It’s been spectacular.”

The Red Dawn star has also reportedly joined the cast of the film titled The Rut. Jeffrey will be playing father to a young girl who – in order to win the approval of her father – surrounds herself with danger and adventure as she journeys into the wilderness alone to hunt.

Jeffrey is best known for his roles as Denny Duquette on Grey’s Anatomy, patriarch John Winchester on Supernatural, and as the Comedian in the 2009 superhero film Watchmen.

People’s Choice Awards Cutest Moments

7e14bettyandrob People’s Choice Awards Cutest Moments

The People have spoken. They apparently like Supernatural more than The Vampire Diaries, but we’ll forgive them for that, because they made some other good choices that wound up giving us a pretty cute People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night. Like any awards show, there was singing, dancing and overly scripted jokes. Also there were kisses and giggles and sweet thank yous. We thought we’d highlight a few of our faves:

10. We saw Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence bonding backstage with co-star Liam Hemsworth’s gf Miley Cyrus. Good thing they get along nicely!

9. Emma Stone, daring to be different in her awesome green tux jacket, managed to make a clichéd message sound sweet: ” You have to stay true to yourself and don’t be afraid even if people say what you do isn’t cool.”

8. Paul Wesley called Ian Somerhalder “Smolderholder” as he opened the envelope for the Favorite Comedy Movie award.

7. Lea Michele pointed out her cousin in the audience WHO LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE LEA MICHELE.

6. Ian Somerhalder was sitting next to Nina Dobrev when she won Favorite TV Drama Actress, but he tweeted her anyway: Congratulations Nina!!! You won!!!! People DO like you;) You rock babe, truly.”

5. Chloe Moretz realized she’s too young to really say “when I was a kid” and then she ended her speech like she was on the phone with all of us, “All right, bye.” Bye, Chloe, see you soon!

4. Demi Lovato, who sang the crap out of her “Give Your Heart a Break” on what looked like a cheered up version of Kanye West’s set from the 2010 VMAs, was suitably breathless but totally gracious when she had to accept an award, like, 2 seconds after singing her last note.

3. “Cool beans,” was Neil Patrick Harris’ reaction to winning Favorite TV Comedy Actor. Then he cracked a joke about his twins sleeping in the limo in the parking lot.

2. Judd Apatow and his Bridesmaids broke out into “Hold On” while accepting Favorite Comedy Movie.

1. We’d never hear the end of it if we didn’t pick newly buzzed Robert Pattinson chatting up Betty White in the front row, would we?

What do you think was the cutest moment of the PCAs?

Will Delena Happen? And Other Vampire Diaries Season Three Teasers

So, we’re going to go out on a limb here, based on the fact that Damon Salvatore won our Favorite Vampire of 2011 poll by a landslide (sorry, Twilighters!) and Nina Dobrev came in a very close second place to Taylor Swift in our Best-Dressed Celebrity of 2011 contest, that you guys are pretty excited about the return of The Vampire Diaries tonight. Yeah, we’re counting down the minutes, too. And to pass the time, we thought we’d gather all the spoilers and teasers we’ve read about the second half of season three:

» Executive producer Julie Plec promised TVLine that “there will be a payoff” for all the Damon/Elena tension that’s been torturing us for years. “What it is and when it happens, may be surprising to people.” And Plec went on to tell TVGuide.com: “Now that Stefan is out of the picture, in her mind there’s a way to free herself up and allow that tension to come out and play.” But in the minus column for the elder Salvatore bro, he’ll be “acting out, day-drinking, pouting and being generally curmudgeonly.”

» Then again, E! Online’s Kristin says there will be an “epic kiss” coming soon, though she didn’t reveal whose lips were involved.

» Elena might have her hands full with non-kissing issues first, since Klaus is on a rampage against the entire Mystic Falls gang after Stefan stole his family’s coffins. Also, TV Guide mentions, Rebekah isn’t to happy with Elena for staking her.

» Bonnie might be seeing a little action though. Kat Graham told E! that her character will be working extra closely with Stefan. Weird.

» Also, Bonnie’s mom is coming to town. “They cast Persia White, who I’ve always loved and adored, as my mom, and she comes into the picture and I go on a hunt to find her and finally get to see her. It’s interesting, that relationship,” Graham told Zap2It.com.

» E!’s Kristin says a character “we know and love” will be leaving town, and it’s Damon’s fault somehow.

» Alaric, meanwhile, will get a love interest, played by Paul Wesley’s (Stefan) real-life wife, Torrey DeVitto. “Her interest in [Alaric] makes Damon concerned and suspicious about what she might be hiding,” Plec told TVLine.

» And somewhere along the way, it seems Klaus is going to show a less-evil side of himself, too “which is him being attracted to somebody else,” Plec told TVLine.

» That leaves Tyler and Jeremy, who both ended the first half of the season in the doghouse for different supernatural reasons. We don’t know what’s going to happen to them, but we enjoy these images of them perfecting their crossbow technique in tonight’s episode.

Under The Never Sky, The Eleventh Plague Make Our Dystopian To-Read List

0848dystopian list Under The Never Sky, The Eleventh Plague Make Our Dystopian To Read List

Yesterday, David Levithan told us that he doesn’t think people finish reading The Hunger Games and immediately want to pick up another dystopian novel. Well, we agree that we like to space these dark books out a bit, but they are addictive. And once a month or so, we’ve been picking up a new one. If you’re just starting to be obsessed, begin with the books we talked about during this Dystopian Week, especially with NextMovie.com’s list of books with movies in the works, then scroll back through Hollywood Crush’s first Dystopian Week suggestions from back in April. Here are some that we haven’t read yet but are next on our own to-read list.

Birthmarked, by Caragh M. O’Brien: In this version of the future, the world is divided between people who live inside the Enclave, and the unfortunate who live outside its walls. Gaia Stone is a 16-year-old novice midwife, and part of her duty is to hand over a quota of babies to the Enclave. But then her parents are taken away, and she has to figure out what’s really going on behind those walls.

The Eleventh Plague, by Jeff Hirsch: The cover bears a quote from Suzanne Collins herself, calling it “an excellent, taut debut novel,” so you probably can’t go wrong with this one. Stephen Quinn was born after two-thirds of the country was wiped out by influenza (that the Chinese released here on purpose) and has grown up barely scraping by as a salvager. But after a family tragedy, the 15-year-old finds his way to a community called Settler’s Landing, where he falls in love and learns that things aren’t as great in the town as they initially appeared to be.

All These Things I’ve Done, by Gabrielle Zevin: In this nightmarish version of New York, the illegal contraband the city’s biggest crime family makes their money from is chocolate. Caffeine is also illegal and water is scarce. But Anya, the daughter of the late crime boss, isn’t so sure she wants to take part in the family business (seriously? Because I probably would sign up to take her place). She’s also falling in love with the Assistant DA’s son and really doesn’t want to. This sounds like dystopia, Boardwalk Empire-style.

Under the Never Sky, by Veronica Rossi: In this story, which has been optioned by Warner Bros. and doesn’t come out until January 3, our hero Aria is cast out of her sheltered life in the enclosed city of Reverie and forced to survive in the savage outside world, which is plagued by violent Aether storms. Luckily, she meets a boy named Perry.
