Actress Jessica Alba was seen out and about today (October 6) as she stepped out to have a bite to eat with her mother and precious 6-week-old baby girl Haven in Santa Monica, Calif.
The mama-of-two dropped off her older daughter Honor at school before heading to the restaurant with her two lunch dates.
Jessica recently discussed that although she doesn’t want to hang onto the baby weight too long, she doesn’t deprive herself of sweets, she is not a slave to the scale, and abides by the philosophy that moderation is the key.
“I didn’t gain too much time so that made a difference and I started working out as my doctor said it was fine,” the Valentine’s Day star admits. “I try to be healthy and balanced. I have definitely not lost the baby weight but it’s coming off slowly but surely. I don’t weigh myself. I just see what clothes fit.”
“I try not to indulge in super-fattening food,” the actress continues. “but I still have desserts as Cash always orders them and they taste so good. It’s just everything in moderation.”
JENNIFER Aniston is reportedly dating actor Justin Theroux.
The former Friends star — who was previously married to Brad Pitt and has dated Vince Vaughn and John Mayer — enjoyed a romantic dinner date with the Your Highness star at the Sunset Towers Tower Bar in West Hollywood last night and the pair are said to have been getting to know each other “for a while”.
“Jen and Justin have recently started dating,” a source said. “They’ve known each other for a while, but they’re more than friends now. They’re cautious — they’re both taking it slowly.”
The couple arrived at the restaurant separately, enjoying a three-hour dinner, but left via an underground car park, ducking down in the back of a chauffeur driven car which took them both back to Jennifer’s Beverly Hills mansion.
The 42-year-old actress — who recently had to deal with the death of her beloved dog Norman –was recently told by her Greek-born father John she should start looking for a man with similar heritage to himself.
Asked if he wanted Jennifer to be with a Greek man, John – whose real name is Yannis Anastassakis – said, “Yes, I would be glad about that. But he’d have to be a good Greek man.”
Discussing what qualities that would entail, he added, “Honesty.”
Kelly Ripa: All My Children Axe Sickening For Talk Show Host Kelly Ripa
Saturday April 16, 2011
TEN days before ABC canceled its long-running soap All My Children, talk show host Kelly Ripa said she be “sick to [her] stomach” if the show got axed
“I can’t even think about that,” the 40-year-old said.
Ripa, 40, met hubby Mark Consuelos, 40, on the set back in 1995 when they played a couple on the show; the two eloped in Las Vegas in 1996 and have three children together — Michael, 13, Lola, 9, and Joaquin, 8.
“All My Children means so much more to me than any place, because [Mark and I] met there, we had our children there, it was a big part of our lives, and I think that to cancel a show that has been on television for so many years, what are you going to replace it with? I mean I just don’t know. I just feel like it’s such a training ground for so many actors.”
The spokesman for a U.S. burger joint that has the catchphrase “taste worth dying for” has died.
Blair River, the 29-year-old, 575-pound pitchman for Heart Attack Grill, died Tuesday, the restaurant’s owner, Jon Basso, told QMI Agency.
Basso said River died from complications due to pneumonia.
He said River was a “wonderful person” who was like the “big man on campus” when he came into the restaurant.
“Pretty much every nurse in the house had a crush on him,” Basso said in an interview from Phoenix, also calling River “a gentle giant of a man who cared deeply for others.”
River was a “creative genius” who wrote the restaurant’s commercials, Basso said.
“Even if he was very skinny, I still would have given him the job,” he said. “We love him. We miss him. We will never forget him.”
The Heart Attack Grill’s Facebook page describes River as a “special man who cared as deeply as he smiled.” Fans of the restaurant posted tributes on the page.
“May we eat a bypass in your name, Blair,” Alberto Montes posted, referring to one of the burgers available at the Heart Attack Grill.
The menu also includes a butterfat shake, flatliner fries deep fried in pure lard, and candy cigarettes.
The waitresses dress as nurses and the restaurant promises if you weigh more than 350 lbs., you can eat for free.
“The Heart Attack Grill is continually accused of glorifying obesity. What we actually do is glorify the freedoms we have as Americans to lead our lives in any way we choose, even if that path is destructive,” Basso said.
“I prescribe burgers, fries, and most importantly, food for thought. An unreceptive audience may fail to grasp the latter menu offering, but to those with insight, the Heart Attack Grill provides an invaluable life lesson.”
