Brooke Burke-Charvet has hit a milestone this year by turning the big 4-0, but life is only getting better for this brunette bombshell.

The former Dancing With The Stars champion has opened up about her role as co-host of the show and the family perks the job provides. “It sounds funny, but hosting live television is a walk in the park compared to actually dancing on the show.” The working mom heads home after the Tuesday show and spends the rest of the week with her kids and new husband, David Charvet.

The newlyweds have two children together – daughter Rain and son Shaya – and Burke has two other daughters, Neriah and Sierra, from a previous relationship.

Even though the model has found some balance with her DWTS gig, she keeps herself occupied with a few other projects. She has just released two workout DVDs and a new book, The Naked Mom. She also added co-creating a website and an online store to her portfolio.

“I write out weekly calendars for everyone to refer to,” she says to co-ordinate the family’s busy lives. “If I don’t write something down, somebody gets left behind. It requires a lot of organization, but I want everyone to have a full life, and I don’t want my kids to have to sacrifice when I have obligations that I have to attend to away from home. It’s a juggle, somewhere in that zone between complete chaos and balance.”
