These celeb moms all chose old-fashioned classic girl names for their daughters, names that our grandmothers — or even great-grandmothers — might have had.

Vintage baby names like Vivian and Olive stand the test of time and are also unique, as they’re not as popular now as they once were. Head over to iVillage to discover the top granny-chic vintage baby names of today.

If Mad Men’s Jessica Pare only cultural contribution was the musical Prozac known as “Zou Bisou Bisou,” she’d still definitely deserve special mention on this site (and in the history books). But as it happens, she is also incredibly gorgeous and has gone on to become our TV heartthrob of the season. Yes we admit it: We have a crush on Don Draper’s new wife. And if he found out, he’d probably make this face.

Thanks to the sixties setting of the show, we’re used to seeing Jessica rocking seriously groovy classic vintage styles. In fact, it’s kind of gotten to the point that we sometimes totally forget that Ms. Pare exists right now in 2012! And she still looks just as gorgeous as she did in 1966. How many people can say that!? (OK, maybe Cher…) In honor of Jessica’s 30th birthday today, we’ve assembled 20 pictures of her being wayyy too hot for the old fashion world of Mad Men, where the miniskirt is still causing heart attacks. We can’t even imagine what Don would say if he ever saw her scandalous not-safe-for-Sterling-Cooper scene in Hot Tub Time Machine. But whatever he does, it would probably also involve this face.

Tori Spelling Reveals Finn’s Nursery

For her newborn son Finn’s posh nursery in her LA-area home, Tori Spelling called on BFFs Bill Horn and Scout Masterson (a.k.a. The Guncles), who run a success baby and kid products PR firm (Marque Communications), for help with a giraffe-themed room.

The mom-of-four, a home decor designer herself, oversaw every detail of the room from her LA-area hospital bed while on bedrest with her fourth child.

“I’ve always loved vintage pieces in my home,” Tori tells Celebrity Baby Scoop about the inspiration behind Finn’s giraffe-themed nursery.

She adds: “Vintage pieces add character and story to a room. I love that I’ll be able to tell Finn the stories behind his vintage pieces. And, mixed with new baby items makes for an amazing and eclectic nursery.”

And she got the whole family involved in the decorating fun.

“I think it’s such a fun family experience adding vintage pieces to a nursery,” Tori says. “Once I had a theme, the kids and I would look online and at flea markets, and it made them a part of the process of decorating Finn’s nursery. So once you have a vision of the nursery check out local flea markets and etsy online.”

Tori says that planning during bedrest with placenta previa gave her hope.

“In the early stages of my pregnancy I was shopping at a flea market and found an adorable vintage giraffe figurine,” she says. “That was when I came up for the vision of Finn’s nursery. I wanted to do a blend of vintage touches and modern regency.”

“Dean and I have always known since Stella was born that we would have another baby boy one day and we would name him Finn,” she reveals. “Although we didn’t find out the sex of the baby I committed whole heatedly to a baby boy giraffe nursery for Finn. That very first vintage giraffe figurine I found also stayed on my bedside table in my hospital room for the 2 1/2 months I was there. It gave me hope.”

And she wanted to make a bold and retro statement with Finn’s posh room.

“I wanted his nursery to be bright and bold pop colors so I went with turquoise and orange,” Tori says. “Then to add the vintage touch I added in a retro yellow.”

The Guncles were thrilled to help their BFF create such a fun space for Finn.

“We were thrilled when Tori asked us to help her decorate Finn’s nursery,” says the reality TV dads. “When we started the project we didn’t know that Finn’s journey into this world would be such a dangerous and emotional one. We hope that the room’s decor is a chic and calming space for our little nephew, and a reminder to Tori and Dean of what an amazing gift little Finn is.”

And the designers were sure to share some of their favorite pieces in the luxurious space. To begin, the duc duc Regency crib and Savannah changer.

“I’m obsessed with the crib and changer by ducduc,” Tori says. “I had never seen anything like their designs. Their pieces exude style and glamour. And I knew the Regency crib would be the perfect pinnacle of Finn’s nursery.”

And the “genius” Tempaper wallpaper really gives the room that chic vintage look. These self-adhesive “peel-and-stick” temporary designs were hung with love by hubby Dean McDermott while Tori lived in the hospital for  2 1/2 months.

“The idea of chic yet temporary wallpaper is genius!” Tori shares. “When I learned that I would potentially be spending my entire pregnancy in a hospital room I wanted to decorate to make it feel like home and to give myself a DIY project. Nothing permanent can be on the hospital walls so the Guncles found Tempaper. Dean hung it and every day that wallpaper made me happy. It was a bright spot for me during tough times. I knew it had to be a part of Finn’s nursery as it had been such a huge part of our journey together. Plus I wanted him to finally get to see it and love it as much as I had.”

The orange SPI Baby Beckett dresser is the same as a pink version that sits in big sis Hattie’s nursery.

“I love their dressers,” Tori says. “They are so chic and the orange gives that amazing color pop in the room.”

Other chic items in the room include the 4moms mamaRoo chair that Tori says “has been a constant in my babies’ lives,” and the Nook Sleep Systems Pebble mattress and matching, custom orange ChangePad.

Sweet dreams in your beautiful room, baby Finn!

The Not-So Stylin’ List For The CMA Awards, Better Luck Next Time, Ladies!

09b7CMAs worstdressed The Not So Stylin’ List For The CMA Awards, Better Luck Next Time, Ladies!

There were an equal amount of sparkles on this not-so-stylish list as they were on the best-dressed list at the CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee last night. But it’s alright, there’s always next time. We do admit that hostess of the evening, Carrie Underwood, being on up here is a bit of a surprise considering she’s normally so perfectly (if no predictably dressed.) But something doesn’t feel right with this Reem Acra dress. Perhaps it’s because it looks like there’s poison ivy creeping up her bodice? The detailing doesn’t work at all. We do love the Swarovski clutch and that massive Jonathan Arndt ring, though. Kimberly Williams-Paisley wasn’t much of a fight for us, as the slit combined with the super shiny fabric on her metallic dress (which matched her shoes) didn’t do it for us the second we saw her pictures. We love Miranda Lambert and covet her emerald and gold Sutra earrings. But the beige Maria Lucia Hohan dress looked completely flat against her coloring and besides that, the bodice needs a good yank up. Faith Hill so stunning as well, which is why we don’t understand why she would pick a Roland Mouret gown that is such a snore on her? The fit isn’t particularly great either. We get what Lucy Hale was trying to achieve here with her Moschino gown: grown-up vintage glamor with a hint of a contemporary touch. So, we do love the hair and the makeup and all the accessories — the Casadei shoes, the Kotur purse, the Nikki Baker earrings and House of Lavande ring. But the black sequined embellishment just looks a bit haphazard on her, so we’re not digging it as much as we’d like to. But that doesn’t mean you don’t? Let us know what your thoughts are!
